Founded in 1906 Athy Golf Club is based just North West of the town of Athy in South West County Kildare.
The management committee have embarked on an ambitious development strategy over the years, expanding the club from nine holes to eighteen in 1993. Since then they have further developed facilities to include car parking facilities, toilet and changing facilities, and a bar and restaurant in the clubhouse.
